Looks like the future is about the 99%.  “In Time” is the story of how technology found a way to suppress the aging gene and, for a price, anyone has the right to pursue the American Dream, immortality.  Wait a minute, did I get that right?

Justin Timberlake stars as a guy whose time is running out.  People get a free ride until age 25, and then their personal countdown clock begins to tick down from a year, literally (see photo below).

A mysterious millionaire with a lot of time on his hands (arm) gasses up Timberlake, giving him the chance to crossover into the land of the 1% to see how the other “half” lives.  He’s accused of murder and goes on the run with his new girlfriend (kidnap victim).

Amanda Seyfried and Cillian Murphy co-star is this average sci-fi thriller, now available on Blu-ray and DVD.

Nothing remarkable about this futuristic adventure that reminds me a bit of “Logan’s Run.”  Grade: D+
